Weekend Review: Bele Chere Edition

What a weekend! It was exhausting, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way! I worked all weekend, right in the thick of it. Sometimes outside at our booth on the street in the middle of the festival and most of the rest of the time inside doing the usual. The festival seemed to go well! I had a couple of chances to go outside and take part, and it was just about like every other festival I’ve been to with that special Asheville twist we know and love. Lots of people, and thus lots of people-watching, festival food, local food, art, music, costumes, crazies, and hot summer heat.

We listened to some Big Nasty Jazz in front of the flat iron building. They were most excellent! And …

… saw some friends I have not seen in at least five years!!! It was great to reconnect with them. Of course, I didn’t get a good picture of that!

And another photo just for good measure. I’ve never seen this guy, but he didn’t seem too out of place.

Overall it was a great weekend! So glad I could take part!
